Software that runs the
business, not just the
brochure.

FuelSoft Tech & Resources Ltd is a small engineering practice in Kano. We design and build the systems companies actually depend on — forecourt telemetry and fuel accounting, workforce registries, escrow marketplaces, reliability analytics and the dashboards that make sense of them. Nine platforms — three of them full back-office systems, not websites — delivered by three founders who write the code, run the installs and answer the phone.

9Platforms designed, built and shipped
3Full back-office platforms with role-based admin, audit trails and staff dashboards
50+Fuel pumps controllable from a single install
125+Dispenser protocols supported by our controller layer
What we do

Four things, done
properly.

We are deliberately narrow. Every project below is some combination of these four capabilities — a product surface, the data underneath it, the hardware or service it talks to, and the reporting a manager opens on a Monday morning.

01

Product & platform engineering

Multi-tenant web applications from schema to deployment. Server-rendered front ends, typed APIs, role-based access control and CI that ships on merge.

  • Next.js / React, TypeScript
  • PostgreSQL, Prisma, REST & GraphQL
  • Multi-tenancy, RBAC, audit trails
  • Vercel, VPS, containerised deploys
02

Automation & device telemetry

Where software meets machinery. We integrate controllers, gauges, meters and readers, then turn their serial chatter into clean, reconciled transactions.

  • Fuel dispensers, ATG probes, RFID
  • RS-232 / RS-485, 125+ pump protocols
  • Edge controller + cloud sync
  • Offline-first, reconnect and replay
03

Data science & analytics

Forecasting, segmentation and reliability modelling on real operational data — not toy datasets. Statistical work that survives contact with a board meeting.

  • Python, scikit-learn, XGBoost
  • Predictive modelling & time series
  • NHPP / reliability growth models
  • Power BI, SQL, ETL pipelines
04

Interface & brand design

A design system per client, not a template. Type, colour, iconography and layout built to survive real content in low-bandwidth conditions.

  • Design systems & component libraries
  • Dashboard and data-dense UI
  • Responsive, accessible by default
  • Identity, collateral, print

Eight client builds.
One product of our own.

Each project below is live or delivered, and the screens are captured from the products themselves — including the admin sides that visitors never see. Client names, references and commercial terms available on request.

Nurussalam Dynamic Services

A public marketplace for property and vehicles, backed by an internal ERP that reshapes itself around whichever business sector you're standing in.

Nurussalam runs several businesses under one roof — real estate, car sales, import and export, agriculture and IT. The public site carries that range and a live listings marketplace, with tabbed real-estate and car-deal inventory priced in naira alongside beds, baths and floor area. Behind the login is the part that took the work: a sector-aware operations platform where an administrator selects a business sector and the whole navigation re-scopes around it — material sourcing, vendors, inventory, production and product sales for that sector — while company-wide HR, employees, departments, finance, messaging and analytics span all of them.

  • Sector switcher that re-scopes navigation, records and permissions to the selected business unit
  • Company-wide modules — HR, employees, departments, finance, messaging, analytics
  • Per-sector operations — material sourcing, vendors, inventory, production, product sales
  • Public listings marketplace with tabbed property and vehicle inventory

CACTUS_SCAPES

A quiet public site for a sustainable design-and-build practice, with a full admin back office doing the work behind it.

CACTUS_SCAPES Nigeria Limited transforms spaces through landscaping, architecture and contracting, and partners with manufacturers on sustainable building materials. The public face is deliberately restrained — a display serif on a deep green field, the offer stated once. The admin side is where the site earns its keep: separate administrator and staff dashboards, a product catalogue with categories and low-stock flags, an inbound request pipeline, project and service records, supplier and team directories, media albums, editable pages, and an audit log of every administrative action.

  • Separate administrator and staff dashboards with role-based access
  • Product, project and service catalogues with categories and stock flags
  • Inbound request pipeline with status tracking, plus supplier and team directories
  • Media albums, editable CMS pages and a full audit log of admin activity

Reliability, Availability & Maintainability

NHPP software that turns a column of failure times into parameters, MTBF curves and a forecast of what breaks next.

Engineers arrive with a list of failure times and need answers. The platform takes cumulative failure times row by row, derives time-between-failure, cumulative MTBF and the log transforms, then estimates the power-law parameters — slope β by maximum likelihood, λ and η — against a user-set end-of-observation time. Results come back as instantaneous and cumulative MTBF curves and a predicted failure trend, exportable to PDF. Single-system analysis handles one unit over time; multiple-system analysis compares and ranks a fleet in batch.

  • Single-system analysis — cumulative failure entry, MTBF derivation, β / λ / η estimation by MLE
  • Multiple-system analysis — batch processing, comparative ranking, advanced reporting
  • Interactive instantaneous vs cumulative MTBF and predicted-failure-trend charts
  • PDF export of results, user management and in-app documentation

Kano Skills Registry

A verified register of every skilled worker in the state, searchable by skill, ward and certification.

Artisans, technicians and graduates build one verified profile: identity checked, skills graded, work history attached. Employers, contractors and government agencies then search that register by trade, local government area, certification level and availability — instead of relying on word of mouth. Profiles carry assessment scores and completed-job counts, so a contractor hiring forty welders can filter to the ones who have actually done structural steel.

  • Public search and filtering across 44 LGAs with skill taxonomy and NSQ grading
  • Two-sided onboarding — worker profile builder and employer workspace
  • Identity and certificate verification workflow with reviewer queue
  • Role-based admin for state agencies, with export and reporting

TradeWorld Express

An escrow-protected marketplace where every vendor clears KYC before a single product goes live.

The trust problem in Nigerian online retail is not payments, it is delivery. TradeWorld holds the buyer's money in escrow until they confirm the goods arrived as described, and every seller passes identity and business verification before listing. Buyers choose door delivery or collection from a network of pickup centres; vendors get a storefront, order pipeline and payout ledger.

  • Escrow transaction state machine — hold, confirm, release, dispute
  • Vendor KYC onboarding with document review and approval gates
  • Catalogue, faceted category browsing, deals engine with countdown pricing
  • Order tracking, collection-centre routing and vendor payout ledger

Hello Xpress Removals

A removals site built around one instant-quote form, with a service catalogue and a partner route behind it.

Removals customers leave at the words "we'll call you back". So the hero is the quote: name, email, phone, service and a short brief, submitted without leaving the page, with a quick selector for home removals, furniture, storage and man-and-van. Below it four service lines are set out plainly — home removals, office removals, furniture delivery, and storage or clearance work. Customer login and a partner route give returning clients and subcontractors their own way in, and the phone number never leaves the top bar.

  • Instant-quote capture in the hero with service preselection and validation
  • Service catalogue across home, office, furniture and specialist moves
  • Customer login, partner sign-up and investor routes
  • Purple-and-gold identity with contact details persistent in the utility bar

HTK Multipurpose

A service catalogue with the prices on the cards, across training, IT and consulting.

Twenty-six offerings split across three practice areas — twelve training courses, eight IT solutions, six consulting services. The site leads with the categories and their counts, then features six services with the price printed on the card: web development at ₦150,000 down to SEO at ₦50,000. Nothing sits behind an enquiry form, which is the point — a prospect can price a project before they speak to anyone, and the enquiries that do arrive are already qualified.

  • Three-category service architecture with per-category counts and browse pages
  • Featured services with transparent naira pricing on the card
  • Consultation and enquiry flows, plus client login and onboarding
  • Credibility band — students trained, projects completed, satisfaction, support

Al-Buruj Energy Solution

The public face and quote pipeline for a solar engineering firm working from single homes to community systems.

Al-Buruj designs, procures, installs and project-manages solar backup systems. Five engineering disciplines had to sit on one site without it reading as a brochure, so each gets a card with its own scope and deliverables — renewable energy engineering, electrical, mechanical and HVAC, general contracting, and rural electrification. Two routes lead out of the hero: request a quote, or book a free consultation.

  • Service architecture across five engineering disciplines with per-service scope
  • Quote request and consultation booking as parallel conversion routes
  • Products, projects and gallery modules with certification credentials
  • Navy-and-gold identity built to stay legible on low-bandwidth mobile

Our own product

FuelSoft Forecourt
Automation & BI.

The system we built for ourselves, and the reason the company exists. Filling stations lose money in the gap between what the pump dispensed and what the books recorded. We closed that gap in hardware and software.

Real-time control and accountability, from the nozzle to the ledger.

An edge controller reads every dispenser and tank gauge on the forecourt and streams temperature-compensated transactions to a local server and the cloud. Managers start, stop and suspend pumps from a dashboard; owners compare stations day by day, month by month, against quarterly targets. Attendant-level attribution via RFID means every litre has a name against it.

Deployed against Gilbarco-type and mixed-brand pumps, LPG and CNG dispensers, and multiple ATG systems — with reports exportable to PDF, Excel and Word for whoever needs them.

50+Pumps controlled simultaneously per controller
125+Dispenser protocols supported out of the box
0.14%Delivery-to-dispense reconciliation variance achieved
3Stations consolidated in one dashboard, expandable
FuelSoft Forecourt Control — live pump and tank telemetry
FuelSoft forecourt automation dashboard showing live pump status, tank levels and revenue by pump

Roadmap modules: RFID staff metering, automatic tank gauging, signboard price control, POS integration for forecourt mini-marts, and a mobile app for owners.

How we work

Four stages.
No surprises.

Small team, direct line. You talk to the person building the thing — there is no account layer between you and the work.

01

Scope & fixed quote

A site visit or a working session, then a written specification with deliverables, milestones and a fixed price. If the scope moves, we re-quote in writing before we build.

02

Design & prototype

You see the interface before we write the backend. A clickable prototype and a design system, reviewed against your real content and your slowest device.

03

Build & integrate

Weekly demos on a staging URL. Hardware installs are supervised on site, cabled and commissioned by us, with zero-margin verification against manual readings.

04

Handover & support

Full training for the people who use it daily, documentation, warranty terms, and an agreed support window. We stay reachable after the invoice clears.

The team

Three founders.
No bench.

Everyone here builds. Between us we cover the product surface, the data layer and the client relationship — which is why a project never waits on a fourth party.
